In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on the importance of social emotional learning (SEL) in schools SEL is defined as the process through which students acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions social emotional learning in schools.
